One of the cutest towns on the beach. The lighthouse is beautiful, and the hotel is situated right across the street. We came into the hotel without a reservation and was told that both the hotel and its two restaurants were fully booked. Which is totally understandable, except for the fact that on booking we were able to find two rooms. The staff is exceptionally rude and unhelpful. The hotel itself is very nice, drinks and food is very nice. We found out that the restaurant had many tables open so we were able to have dinner here as well- so the approach of the staff is super odd. It was very rude and to be honest unacceptable. They did not even apologize. So all in all just go somewhere where they appreciate their guests.

old part gets * and the new part gets ****. so hope you're lucky to be in the new part... we arrived and at first the room looked okey. but with time we saw that the shower was defect and it should be renovated: seals were dark/black, some stuff was loose at the walls and just too small with the shower included more or less in the bedroom. I would not say it was not clean but it appeared a bit dingy. so really one * for this part after going to the reception we could change the room and surprisingly we got a more modern room, nice shower and bath. and this room was actually the same category! so if you are lucky by booking you will get the nice room or the old in need of renovation. for the new room and the rest of the hotel I would give four ****....

Lovely and beautiful hotel with a great view. But when very hot as this July (30 plus) the room was impossible to stay during day and just very hot during night. The hotel should provide a fan as no aircon installed but when asked no fan was provided. A pity as the place is great and the food lovely - but hard to sleep for two days reduce the overall to two stars. If not a hot day by all means go for this 😜

Hôtel offers an amazing view on Ouessant and Molene islands and a very special atmosphere at night when St Mathieu lighthouse starts lighting. Excellent gastronomic restaurant, creative cuisine with only local products. A delicious stop in one of the most scenic spot of western Brittany.

We stayed in another nearby hotel I think owned by the same family. We used the restaurant in this hotel and found the starter and desserts just fine but the main ( a chicken dish was undercooked so was returned) We were asked if we wanted coffee at the end but all that arrived was the bill, with no reduction for the chicken dish which had been whipped away by the chef when he learned of our complaint. We waited 15 - 20 minutes for the coffee and then went to the reception to complain as none of the waiters came over to help. We were offered a €16 discount off the bill!!!! I do not recommend this restaurant.

very noisy. you can hear everything from the rooms above and beside. they spray too much of a perfume in the rooms. I don't recommend if you like to be quiet and rest. you won't be able to sleep before midnight and will wake up at 06:00...

Staff unbelievably rude. Especially the one with Captain on his back. Should have been an anchor. Came to eat at the Bistro with a friend but was told there was no parking despite the empty spaces Im disabled and have an electric car that needs charging but no not having it. Tough. Ok so went round to the bistro. Wasn't particularly busy, waited an age before anyone came to attend. Simple communication seemed impossible . Not my French is not so bad and have been more than able to make myself understood other places. Shame was looking forward to trying the BRETAGNE whisky again.

The best thing was the view and location, but inside we had a lot of flies which they did not bother with. The food portions are small and did not satisfy my appetite. The staff was very nice though. Wifi was very very slow.
